Waititu reveals how he will deal with his Deputy
Nyoro, Waititu's Deputy revealed on Monday of a plan by his boss to have him resign.

Mr Waititu, who now doubts the academic credentials of his deputy, further demanded him (Mr Nyoro) to lay bare his Doctorate Degree papers and told him off, urging him to stop undermining him.
The bitter words by Waititu is a move to quell what looks like a supremacy battle between the two Kiambu leaders, following a Monday declaration by his Deputy that he [Waititu] wanted him to leave office.
Mr Waititu, who spoke late Tuesday, said that he will not be cowed by his deputy, adding that would not lay low to his deputy’s demands.

“People have been lying but I will tell the truth. Let them show their doctorate degrees if they have studied that far,” Mr Waititu said.
He further refuted claims that he has been running a county in a one-man-show fashion, faulting his deputy for sequential absentia from office, after his deputy was in the US and later in Turkey.
“People should not say that I am running the county alone. The deputy governor returned from the United States on Wednesday where he had been for two weeks,” Mr Waititu said.
“Before that, he was in Turkey. If people went to his office for services, they did not wait for him.”

Earlier, Mr Nyoro had decried of poor working relationship with his governor adding that he had been operating from a corridor because the governor’s supporters poured water in his office, claims the governor dismissed.
'Dictator Governor'
On Monday, Mr Nyoro accused Waititu of being a dictator, adding that the governor has been taking issues including critical decision in the running of the county in his hands, without involving key executive committee members, him included in particular.
Making reference to the recent controversial Alcohol Bill, Mr Nyoro added that there was no single consultation on the matter, resulting in a bitter exchange.

“What has been happening in Kiambu is a one man show. There has not been any consultation between the governor and the county executive members and particularly the Deputy Governor.
“All the controversial issues that we’re having today including the so-called Alcoholic Bill and the implementation of it, I want to be told what cabinet memo was done in order to make that implementation,” Mr Nyoro said.
