1. Suspension of People’s Assembly
NASA chief strategist David Ndii on Monday announced the suspension of the People’s Assembly.

According to Ndii, the move was made in support of the unity process initiated by Kenyatta and Odinga.
"We have accepted and we acknowledge that its better to reason together than alone. We are therefore suspending the people's assembly process," Ndii said in a press conference at Okoa Kenya offices.
2. Reinstatement of leaders' security detail
On Monday the Government reinstated the security detail of NASA leaders which was withdrawn after the controversial swearing-in of Mr Odinga as the People’s President.
Confirming the information was National Assembly Minority Leader John Mbadi and Minority Whip Junet Mohamed.

Wiper Party leader and NASA co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka was among the leaders affected by the security withdrawal.
Reports also indicated that passports also belonging to NASA leaders that had been confiscated by the government will also be returned.
3. Jimi Wanjigi’s case withdrawn
Businessman Jimi Wanjigi and his father Maina Wanjigi have been facing illegal firearm custody cases.
However, after the Uhuru-Raila deal, it seems that the case will be withdrawn.

4. Ruto supports Raila
The secret meeting between Uhuru and Raila saw Deputy President William Ruto announce his support for the former Prime Minister after a protracted rivalry.
Ruto declared that he supports the talks and called on other Opposition leaders to work with the Jubilee Government.
“After the meeting between the two leaders yesterday (Friday), it was clear that the chapter of political competition in the country is over. This is the time to work for the electorates and forget about politics and elections until 2022.

“This is the moment for our country to stand together and build the bridges of friendship, brotherhood and unity so as to take this country to another level,” Ruto said.
At the same time Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, who never sees eye-to-eye with President Kenyatta expressed his willingness to work with Jubilee Government.

5. NASA co-principals disagree with Raila
For the first time, NASA co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Musali Midavadi and Moses Wetangula publicly expressed their displeasure in Mr Odinga.

The three divulged that the former Prime Minister never consulted them and only learned about the meeting through the media.
“This morning, the 9th day of March, we through the media, a meeting between the President and Rt. Hon Raila Amolo Odinga… While we have always advocated for dialogue as co-principals of the NASA coalition, we were not privy to the discussions at Harambee House,” a statement signed by the three leaders read.
6. Mutahi Ngunyi agrees with Raila
After three years filled with sharp criticism against Mr Odinga, political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi for the first time defended the Opposition leader.
Prof Ngunyi stated: “I have not defended Raila for three years now but today I have no choice. Those attacking him for meeting Uhuru are political vultures and we know them. They have hovered over Raila’s head waiting for him to die politically so that they can feed on his carcass.

“But Raila has outsmarted them. Now they are asking for an all-inclusive dialogue yet the country knows that if Raila is in the dialogue, the dialogue is all-inclusive. Raila is actually the dialogue,” he said.
