In a heated interview on Milele FM, hosts Alex Mwakideu and Jalang’o put Moha to task over his record since getting to Parliament.

The youthful MP defended his record and instead accused the media of failing to recognise that he was an independent MP in a House dominated by MPs from Jubilee and NASA.

The hosts, however, did not relent. “The image that you created during your journalism carer is that it was enough to go against 200 MPs? What has changed because now people are even calling you Jicho Pesa? " Jalang’o posed.

Moha countered Jalang’o’s question by challenging him to mention some of the issues he had heard him advocate in Parliament, the radio presenter could not name any.

“The media does not highlight the positive things I do. I have advocated for better healthcare including bringing a bill calling the government to build referral hospitals in every county. I have also called for bodies not to be held due to failure to pay hospital bills,” the Legislator said.

Mwakideu later posed a direct question on whether he had been bribed by Deputy President William Ruto – a claim Moha flatly denied.

“When I was with Raila Odinga, nobody said I was being bribed. Why is it an issue when I work with Ruto. I will work with him, I will work with Uhuru Kenyatta as a matter of ideology, nobody is paying me,” he said.
