Why NASA co-principal disappeared after elections

Some said he had defected to Jubilee.

The NASA co-principal has resurfaced after he was handed what some called an ‘embarrassing defeat’ by Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso.

According to social media, Ruto had defected to Jubilee after badly losing to Laboso because he was no longer seen in public with other NASA co-principals.

But he hasn’t.

“I am in NASA to stay.” He said before explaining his disappearance “I have decided to maintain a low profile to allow Bomet people to settle. I know the election was marred with a lot of irregularities since government machinery was used to intimidate my supporters. ”

Speaking to KTN News Ruto rubbished claims that Jubilee had wooed him and said that people had blown things out of proportion on social media.

“I am party leader. How can I defect to another political outfit? Jubilee has not approached me but I have seen things blown out of proportion on social media.”
