Orengo's stern warning to Uhuru

Uhuru cautioned

Orengo stated that the pressure of Kenyans’ resistance to the ruling coalition will automatically compel Uhuru to move out of power in the coming weeks.

NASA to adopt South Africa's strategy

While speaking in Gem on Sunday, the lawyer was keen to mention that NASA will apply South Africa’s technique so that President Uhuru will offer to leave the most sort for seat

"Nasa is going to apply some of South Africa's tricks for Uhuru to voluntarily exit the presidential seat in weeks’ time, for the installation of Raila Odinga as the country’s President and not the People’s President," Orengo said on Sunday.

The South African President; Jacob Zuma had refused to step down until the ruling African National Congress (ANC) explained the wrongs he had committed. He termed the move to remove him as irrational since he believed he had done nothing wrong.

He had refused to resign but he later respected the orders by the ruling African National Congress (ANC) to bring to an end his nine years in power.

The senator insisted that no one will forcefully eject Uhuru out of office but circumstances will ensure he voluntarily leaves.

NASA swearing-In

Orengo was categorical about NASA swearing. He praised NASA for it's inauguration move which has been widely criticized by a section of Kenyans and others across the globe.

The attorney said the instruments of power will be meted out to the NASA principal in the open “after the peaceful exit of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his cohorts”

“We have crafted strategies that will see Raila ascend to the throne of power and later issued with instruments of power,” the Siaya Senator said.

In trying to weigh the possibility of Uhuru leaving office, the senator compared Uhuru to Zuma adding that they both held the position of commander-in-chief.

“Where is the difference between Uhuru and former South African President Jacob Juma who vacated office within 48 hours despite being the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces?"

The legislator went ahead to ask Kenyans to have faith in the Opposition coalition as it will bring to fruition its vow and ensure they arrive in 'Canaan'.

The senator said that Githu Muigai's resignation as the attorney General was "just a tip of the iceberg" in Jubilee's downfall.

“The former attorney general purported that Raila committed treason by taking the oath as the People’s President. I advise him to interpret the law correctly or go back to school. He has finally opted for a refresher programme."

Speaking in the Gem as well, Governor Cornel Rasanga lauded Orengo’s sentiments adding that NASA should work on a fine mechanism to remove Uhuru from power.

After the controversial swearing in ceremony, Otieno Kajwang and Miguna Miguna were put behind bars. Miguna was later deported to Canada in an interesting turn of events.
