Questions after Jeff Koinange's hot story is pulled off air at the last minute

Here is what happened!

Koinange's story had received a lot of hype as it sought to bring a new perspective to the controversial demolitions on the Mau Forest.

However, after two days of hyping it on television and on social media, the story did not air, much to the disappointment of the station's audience.

Koinange later apologised, saying the story failed to air due to a technical hitch.

"Folks..APOLOGIES for the Mau Story!!..A slight TECHNICAL hitch but we PROMISE to air the story TOMORROW night!!" he posted on his twitter account.

"What happened to the highly publicized coverage of the Mau Forest issue? should have told us why show couldn't be on air at the last minute!" Former presidential candidate James ole Kiyiapi reacted on twitter.

"It's evident that the Mau Forest issue is a no go zone, Cartels are on it seriously, No big fish will be named again Jeff Koinange and crew couldn't stand the heat, The script had to be edited again. We have no Media in Kenya, Just Cartels Mouthpiece," Julius Mmasi complained on social media.

"I knew this!!you can't hype SundayLive like that Jeff then come up with a flimsy excuse of a technical hitch...of all the stations~Citizen TV!!Which has porched big wigs from other media stations in Kenya?.Just loan one big shot 2 k24 and buy a technical hitch solver then," Thoma Amakanji said.
