Inside Jubilee’s hidden plan that will be launched immediately after Maraga’s final ruling

Maraga's team of six judges will deliver the final ruling on Monday.

The Sunday Nation reported its sources confirming that the Jubilee administration has set up elaborate plans to win international support if the Supreme Court upholds their win.

Chief Justice David Maraga is on Monday expected to deliver the final verdict, which will be a decision of the majority of the six judges who listened to the matter.

If the election is upheld, Jubilee will immediately complete preparations for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s swearing-in ceremony.

The government has made advance plans for the swearing in ceremony with invitation letters already prepared and addressed to a number of head of states and other international dignitaries.

The letters will be immediately dispatched if the ruling goes in favour of the Jubilee team. If election is upheld, President Kenyatta will be sworn in on Tuesday 28th of November.

Concerned with the Opposition’s claims that the election lacked political legitimacy, the ruling coalition also plans to launch an shuttle diplomacy mission that will seek to convince the international community that Kenyatta was validly elected.

The shuttle diplomacy plan has already been finalised and only awaits the ruling at the top apex. The mission is expected to be shepherded by Deputy President William Ruto who will be assisted by Foreign Affairs CS Amina Mohamed.

The Opposition leader Raila Odinga on Friday returned from a foreign trip where he is reported to have reported his concerns to various police makers in the United Strates.

Jubilee is concerned that the NASA team may beat them in the battle for international support.

“We have reached a point that our friends in the opposition have created a situation where anything they say is perceived to be correct and what we say is wrong,” an anonymous government official was quoted by a local daily.
