IEBC's latest move sparks controversy with NASA leaders

This comes after IEBC declared Uhuru President Elect

Despite the update from IEBC, a section of Nasa Leaders have questioned the move, stating that why did the commission fail to do so during the August Polls.

“Today, the Commission has granted Presidential Candidates, Agents and Observers access to the Results Transmission Server.” reads IEBC tweet

Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Muhammed differed sharply with IEBC on why it was easy for the Electoral Body to grant access to  its server in regard to the October 26 Election, while they failed to do so in the August 8 General election, even after a court order.

“ why didn’t you do this after the August election even after the court ordered you. How comes this time the French woke up early!” Questioned Junet Mohammed

This comes after IEBC Chairman Chebukati Wafula on Monday declared President Uhuru the winner with 7,339,228 votes amount to 98.2% of the total number of votes.

The body has officially gazetted Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto as President-elect and Deputy President-elect.

The Gazette Notice now allows petitioners to challenge the win of Mr. Kenyatta and his Deputy during the October 26 fresh presidential polls.

The Notice was signed by IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati.
