All opposition legislators supporting Raila Odinga’s swearing in could be grounded in the country if foreign envoys heed the calls to revoke their visas and deny their applications.

The move which is aimed at grounding opposition politicians within the country was fronted by Kieni Member of Parliament Kanini Kega.

In an interview with a local media house, the legislator foreign envoys to revoke the visas of all opposition Members of Parliament who have signed an affidavit endorsing Raila Odinga’s swearing in.

“What the NASA legislators are trying to do is plunge this country into chaos with a plan to escape to other countries together with their families. That should not be allowed.” Kega said.

He further urged the envoys to subject National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders Raila Odinga and his co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka.to the same treatment, thus grounding them in the country.

The legislator stated that by revoking and canceling the visas of all MPs supporting the controversial event, the international community would show how serious they are in their commitment to ensuring peace in Kenya.
