A follower on Governor Kivutha's Twitter handle had urged the governor to select Ms Karua as his running-mate "if and when" he decided to vie.
"If and when you decide to run this country as the next president with Martha Karua as your able deputy, you are assured of my vote by 4am in the morning of the voting day.
"Kenyans will support your presidency bid overwhelmingly Kibwana. You lead as others watch," Paul Muiruri tweeted.
No, Thank You
Karua did not take the comment lightly, she offered an immediate reply to the fan in her classic no-nonsense way.
"I have a lot of respect for Governor Kibwana and his leadership ability but kindly note that deputy is not a woman's first name," she responded.
After contesting in the 2013 elections as a presidential candidate, Karua vied and lost in the Kirinyaga gubernatorial race.
Not Supporting Ruto Either
The Narc-K leader is also on record saying that he will not support Deputy President William Ruto when he contests for the presidency.
"I am being very upfront, I will not support DP Ruto," she stated last November.
She stressed that she only supported the DP as part of the 2017 presidential ticket was because of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"My support was basically for President Uhuru Kenyatta. Though I supported a ticket that had two people my main support was for President Kenyatta," she stated.
