In a video shared by the PSCU, Mr. Kenyatta is seen with his wife and three children: Jomo, Ngina and Jaba.
Kenyatta and his two sons are donned in suits, the First Lady is in beautiful white flowing dress while Ngina is wearing formal pant and a nice blouse to match her look.
Before the First family exited State House to join Jubilee supporters at the Kasarani Stadium for the swearing-in ceremony, they had a small photo session.
In the clip, the five are seen enthusiastic to accompany Kenyatta to the ceremony that saw him rule Kenya for another second term.
After being sworn into office the Head of State hailed his wife for being extremely supportive.
"To my dear wife Margaret: you have been my pillar of strength; your passion to uplift the well-being of every Kenyan inspires me, as it inspires millions of Kenyans. I thank you, Margaret," he said.
He also praised is Deputy William Ruto for being the one with the energy to push forward during the difficult situation they found themselves in during the elections period.
"Let me also thank my friend and Brother, Deputy President William Ruto. Your energy, humour and optimism lifted our campaign every day," he noted.
Lastly, he praised DP Ruto’s wife Rachel for being a prayer warrior when the country was in
"I also wish to thank Mrs. Rachel Ruto. You have been the spiritual and prayerful bedrock of our two families; and the Kenyan nation. Thank you, Rachel," Kenyatta remarked.
