Lusaka beat Wiper's Farah Maalim

Mr Lusaka garnered 42 votes out of 67 votes cast in the just concluded second round elections after the first contest failed to raise the required numbers for him to be the speaker of the Senate.

Wiper's Farah Maalim came second with 25 votes. Mr Farah decamped from ODM in the run up to the general elections.
