The youthful MP who won the seat on a Kenya National Congress (KNC) ticket found himself in trouble after the party wrote to the Registrar of Political Parties seeking to strike him off from the party list of members.
The party alleged that he has been promoting another political party’s interests and has failed to participate in KNC party matters.
He, however, denied promoting another political party’s interests, insisting that he had a personal friendship with Deputy President William Ruto which has been misinterpreted for promoting the agenda of other political parties.
KNC also faulted him for failing to instruct Clerk of the National Assembly to effect monthly subscriptions to the party in accordance with the binding pledge of commitment which he signed.
The letter signed by the party’s Secretary General James Ogembo reads in part that “We hereby instruct your office to remove from KNC party register the name of Sylvanus Osoro, KNC member No. KNCKS1000077.”
