Labour Principal Secretary Nelson Marwa has been forced to issue a response after a woman in Kitale moved to court claiming to have borne him a daughter.

The 27-year-old woman claims that the PS paid Sh50,000 for hospital costs and has since failed to support his one-year-old daughter.
The woman asked the Kitale Court to compel Mr Marwa to pay child support for the upkeep of his alleged daughter.

The Labour PS has, however, denied knowing the woman as well as the claims that he sired her daughter.
He has also denied ever making a Sh50,000 payment to any hospital on behalf of the woman or her daughter.
"At no time have I supported the plaintiff or the alleged child," Marwa stated in court papers.
In preparation for hearings, the court directed that the parties undergo DNA testing to determine paternity as the hearings are set to begin on April 23.
The fiery PS previously served as the Mombasa County Commissioner during which he had a few altercations with top politicians.
He was appointed to the PS docket soon after President Uhuru Kenyatta won his second term.
