The developments emerged on Thursday after Governor Mike Sonko's intervention.

The five had been detained at the hospital after sustaining injuries following chaos that broke out on Thursday last week and were unable to settle the arrears.
Luckily, they were all all allowed to leave St Joseph Ombo Mission Hospital after Sonko's intervention on Thursday.
However, ODM MP Mark Nyamita has been irked by Sonko’s act terming it hypocritical.
The legislator termed it an ‘insult’ for the Governor to cater for bills of ‘jubilee-sanctioned police brutality.’
“We are telling Sonko to keep his blood-stained money to himself. Let him use the money to pay Nairobi county employees who have gone for months without pay or better still use it to clean the city, which is chocking under garbage, or he can equally use it to buy good manners,” Nyamita stated.
Chaos were witnessed on Thursday last week during the repeat poll after protesters barricaded roads to prevent voting in the four counties of Kisumu, Siaya, Migori and Homa Bay.
The events caused a clash between police and the locals with some sustaining gunshot wounds.
IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati was also forced to cancel the repeat election in the four counties.
Majority of the locals in Luo Nyanza boycotted the polls as directed by their leader Raila Odinga and made sure no voting took place as they engaged officers in running battles.
