Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) General Miguna Miguna has alluded that NASA leader Raila Odinga could be behind his second forceful deportation to Dubai.

Last week, Miguna was kicked out of the country after being detained at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for more than 72 hours.

Speaking on the NewsMakers on TRT World, the Canadian-based lawyer claimed that the order to deport him was issued by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

He further accused the former Prime Minister of supporting the order stating that the handshake between the two leaders had compromised Mr. Odinga.

"This order could only come from the President himself and I suspect also those ones he has entered into deal with. The reason why I say this is it is not easy for a Cabinet Minister or a bureaucrat to disobey not just one court order but 11 court orders," he asserted.

During the interview, Miguna reiterated that he was drugged and unconsciously bundled into an Emirate Dubai-bound flight.

When Miguna arrived in Kenya on Monday 26, 2018, he was detained at the Immigration Department because he did not possess a Kenyan passport.

He was asked to surrender his Canadian passport then apply for a Visa but he refused.

According to Miguna, applying for the Visa as a tourist would restrict him from conducting his political activities in the country.

"What they were trying to do was to make me return to Kenya as a foreigner, a Canadian so that I could not continue to lead the NRM.

So that I could not participate n political activities, so that I could not earn a living so that I could not live a free life and they could decide to return, detain remove anytime they wanted," he said during the NewsMaker interview.

Mr. Odinga has been under fire for remaining silent over the second deportation of Miguna.

The lawyer insists that the Opposition has done little to ensure his return into the country.

"If 11 valid court orders have not restrained FredMatiangi and stopped him from violating my rights, assaulting, torturing and chemically poisoning me and forcing me out of Kenya unconscious, what is a mere press statement, salimlone? Let us be serious for once," Miguna told off Salim Lone  (Raila's former advisor) after Odinga's statement criticising CS Matiang'i.
