Self-declared NRM General Miguna Miguna has sent a message to Nyanza residents ahead of the planned visit by President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition Chief Raila Odinga.

In a series of tweets, Miguna Miguna called on the people of Nyanza to reject the two leaders’ visit because Raila is greedy and a traitor.

“REJECT RAILA'S HOSTING OF MUIGAI in NYANZA We are not going to allow the mythical bridges to nowhere to be built on corpses of innocent civilians that offered as human sacrifices to ! Raila is a TRAITOR, a coward, an opportunist and a greedy hypocrite!” he wrote.

Miguna Miguna went on to say that Raila could not pretend that President Uhuru was good while his deputy William Ruto was bad because they are one and the same.

“Traitor can't REWRITE HISTORY: stole the 2017 elections, killed Msando, hundreds of his supporters & maimed thousands - mainly Luos. can't pretend that is good but is bad. & is 1 and the same!” said Miguna.

Raila speaks on Uhuru’s Nyanza visit

His words come a day after the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga spoke on the President’s anticipated visit to Kisumu next week.

Speaking in Kisumu, Odinga noted that eight years since the promulgation of the 2010 constitution, the country was still yet to realize unity of Kenyans, equity and tame corruption.

He added that Kenyans should expect radical constitutional changes next year aimed at improving governance and service delivery.
