Mohammed Ali reveals why he hasn’t unleashed an investigative piece
Where is Jicho Pevu in Parliament?
In his outlandish style, Ali released a video and vowed to investigate corruption inside the August House then report it to Kenyans.
However, almost one year after his election the former journalist has not yet unleashed any investigative piece.
Speaking during the Jeff Koinange Live (JKL) show on Wednesday, the legislator emphasized that his promise to Kenyans still stands.
The lawmaker said that investigations take time noting that he cannot simply talk about issues without the relevant evidence.
"You know the other day people were saying that I had promised that I will be Jicho Pevu in Parliament but it seems now that I am compromised.
"You know investigations take time. I am not like any other person who shouts and say that corruption must end," he said.
In his defence, he said hat he was able to speak about the multi-billion corruption scandal at the National Youth Service (NYS) after he had gathered enough evidence.
On Tuesday Mr. Ali named 10 powerful individuals linked the scam.
