NASA principal’s meeting disrupted

Moses Wetangula's meeting turns chaotic

Sources privy to the details reveled that among those who were in the meeting held at the Senator’s Kanduyi home were Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi and Tongaren's Eseli Simiyu and a host of Members of County Assembly (MCA).

The meeting was convened by the Bungoma Senator to prevail upon his party officials to shelve their plan of kicking out the Bungoma County Emmanuel Situma.

A section of those present were opposed to the idea of Situma participating in the same meeting discussing his fate, sparking a bitter exchange.

Wetangula was also hoping to address key issues facing his Ford Kenya party but failed to do so as the meeting quickly degenerated into chaos and shouting matches.

Tongaren MP Eseli Simiyu also suffered the wrath of the MCAs who accused him of fronting a candidate for nomination to the County’s public service board.

"Is this a party of one constituency? Why should we always take positions to one region? Are we foreigners in this party?"

As the things got out of hand, the Bungoma Senator reportedly asked the participants to move from the garden into the house to prevent further embarrassment.

A participant at the meeting quoted Wetangula saying: "We are all leaders. Let's cool our tempers and get into the house. Can't you see your drivers are already posting this on social media?"
