Wetangula’s morning tweets to Raila leave Kenyans talking

Weta is not happy

Wetangula was responding to a statement by Mr. Odinga’s PA Dennis Onyango that castigated him for linking the former Prime Minister to his removal from the Senate Minority leader position.

"To date, none of the NASA senators has come out to support Wetang'ula. That kind of rejection was unprecedented and pointed to a deep-rooted problem between him and his colleagues.

"We find his sentiments to be dishonest, frivolous and evasive. They are only meant to whip up emotions to get sympathy over problems of the senator’s own making,” Odinga said in the statement.

Wetangula's tweets

In the morning tweets, the Bungoma Senator sounded unhappy claiming that the statement issued by Odinga’s PA proved that there were wrangles in the Opposition.

“Raila's disjointed proxy responses and attempts to malign me explains the internal turmoil of a conflicted, disintegrating organisation," he tweeted.

The FORD-Kenya party leader went ahead to advise Mr. Odinga to form another political vehicle and leave NASA to the three co-principals – himself, Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka and ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi.

"Omwami Raila leave NASA to Stevo,MDVD & Weta. You made your choices and moved on to you never face the next election with same party," he tweeted.

Wetangula has formed a basis of political discussion after publicly declaring that Mr. Odinga had betrayed him by spearheading his removal from the Senate leadership.

In an interview with the Nation, the Senator confessed how Mr. Odinga bulldozed his way in NASA.
