Uhuru's Team responds after Raila was sworn-in

Jubilee leaders came out on Tuesday to give their views concerning the issue.

They said President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Jubilee administration will concentrate on building the nation.

Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju was tickled with the issue of the former premier being sworn in.

The Party Vice Chairman David Murathe said the counties which have passed the motion that they do not recognize elected leaders should have their assemblies dissolved.

The NASA leader was sworn in on Tuesday at 3pm. NASA rubbished the August and October elections terming it as sham.

The Opposition insists that they won the August polls notwithstanding the fact that his political rival Uhuru Kenyatta was announced the winner.

“Four-point agenda remained low-cost houses, access to reliable healthcare, food security and meaningful jobs is what they want achieved in the five years”, Murathe said.

He said Uhuru Kenyatta is recognized as the duly elected president as per the constitution and everyone is aware. Murathe added that Jubilee will focus on development because he believes that is important.

“In fact, we will not even be bothered with him by trying to arrest him or giving him attention. We will focus on what is important. Development!”
