Israel’s leading newspaper, Times of Israel reported that Netanyahu had confirmed his attendance at President Kenyatta’s swearing in ceremony.
The Israeli leader will fly to Nairobi on Tuesday and fly back to Jerusalem later on the same day.
President Kenyatta’s swearing-in will take place at the Kasarani Stadium in a ceremony where over 20 heads of state have confirmed their attendance.

After the Supreme Court ruling, Israel became one of the first countries to send congratulatory messages to Kenya’s President-elect.
The message would later raise controversy after social media users noted discrepancies in the dates and the signature used in Netanyahu’s letter.
It has also emerged that the Israeli leader had invited his Kenyan counterpart for a state visit to the Middle East country.
In July 2016, Netanyahu became the first sitting Israeli prime minister to visit Kenya.
