Only my Presidency will return sanity – Moses Kuria speaks on Ruto-Raila wars

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has spoken on the recent fights between opposition leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto.

In a tweet on Tuesday, The legislator said that only his presidency will bring rationality to Kenya.

He went on to say that Members of Parliament allied to the Deputy President were only responding to a fire started by Senate Minority Leader and Siaya Senator James Orengo on behalf of Raila Odinga.

Who accidentally left the asylum door open? Team Kamanda is amok. Orengo on behalf of Mr Odinga is talking impeachment. The DP’s allies are returning fire for fire. Only my Presidency will return sanity to this beloved nation,” wrote Moses Kuria.

DP Ruto’s allied MPs

His words come hours after 16 MPs allied to Deputy President William Ruto alleged that the planned impeachment of the DP was only a plot to have AU envoy Raila Odinga as President Uhuru Kenyatta's deputy.

The MPs made the remarks on Tuesday at a presser held in Parliament amid claims by Senate Minority leader James Orengo, that legislators would impeach Dr Ruto.

Orengo had stated that he would mobilize legislators both from Jubilee and NASA to support an impeachment motion against the DP for “gross misconduct”.
