Ms Mbuchi has been living at the Karurumo Health Centre public servants' quarters that are meant for medical staff.

The county assembly's majority leader cautioned Ms Mbuchi that her current residence could harm her political future.

Debates in the Assembly

Debates over the MCAs choice of living quarters was occasioned by a question raised by Health Committee chairperson Muturi Mwombo.

Muturi sought an explanation as to why a member of the House was living in what he termed as a dirty, dilapidated building.

Muturi argued that Mbuchi's presence at the facility had robbed a deserving medic the chance to occupy the house meant for them.

Infrastructure and Housing Committee, chaired MCA Muriithi Kiura, respnded with a detailed report on the effect of Ms Mbuchi's presence at the hospital grounds, sparking the debates in the house.

According to the report, Mbuchi begun living at the facility during her stint as a Vocational Training Centre instructor.

The committee further established taht three Administration Police officers had also been granted residence at the quarters after they struck an agreement withthe local community.

The report recommended Ms Mbuchi to vacate the premises.
