Protests over arrest of NASA MP

He disrupted a government function

According to the Star, they accused Port Victoria OCS Felix Forex of bias for holding the MP and 12 others allied to him in custody.

"Why is the OCS being biased by locking a section of those allied to Wanjala in police cells leaving others behind? Stop discrimination and help everyone," said one of the protestors.

"This is Budalangi politics and we know Ababu Namwamba is involved. He is the one to be arrested. He started the violence and framed Wanjala, in what capacity did Ababu come to Sigiri Bridge?" he asked.

Wanjala was arrested in Kisumu on Saturday following Friday’s chaotic incident where his supporters clashes with those of Foreign Affairs CAS Ababu Namwamba.
