DP Ruto's message to Kenyans ahead of Raila's announcement

NASA leader Raila Odinga is set to make a major announcement on Wednesday to NASA supporters.

Deputy President William Ruto has urged Kenyans to remain calm ahead of NASA leader Raila Odingas major announcement on Wednesday.

Odinga had earlier divulged that he would communicate the way forward to NASA supporters on Wednesday, a day to the repeat poll.

Speaking during an interview on Monday, Ruto stated that Odinga's businesses was done after pulling out of the presidential race.The DP mentioned that security would be beefed up on Thursday to ensure that everyone participates in the repeat poll."We urge Kenyans to turn out in large numbers and vote on Thursday. It is the people who decide their destiny," he stated.On Monday, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy met IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati ahead of the repeat poll.The Head of State noted that he was ready for the elections and had no demands on IEBC, other than the electoral body conducting the election.

“We made it clear that we have no demands or conditions on this subject. We have made funds available for the IEBC to do its job. Now they really should deliver,” he stated.
