GEMA trashes deal with Raila

Raila Odinga met the controversial group on Friday last week

According to GEMA Chairman Kimani Rugendo who was accompanied by officials from 17 constituencies in Nairobi, the NASA leader was conned by imposters and that there was nothing like GEMA business community.

“Gema is a welfare association, not a business entity. The people who went to see Raila are not GEMA representatives in Nairobi. They are cons. There is nothing like GEMA business community,” he said.

He added that the deal reached at did not reflect the position of the association and called on the NASA leader to verify details of individuals claiming to be leaders of welfare groups.

Raila Odinga met a controversial group claiming to be the GEMA business community in Nairobi at a Nairobi hotel and they agreed to work together in the Building Bridges initiative.
