Moses Kuria reveals what will happen to Raila today during Uhuru's inauguration

The new twist comes after NASA leader Raila Odinga allegedly turned down the calls to have him sworn in a meeting which lasted five hours in Machakos over the weekend.

Moses Kuria divulged that NASA team duped Kenyans yet the Memorial Rally which has been organised by the Raila Odinga camp at Jacaranda grounds, he said, is meant to swear-in Mr Odinga.

“Don’t be fooled. They will swear in Raila in Embakasi. Then he will say it was the people's decision not his,” Moses Kuria said.

Mr Kuria said that NASA leaders are planning to swear in Opposition leader Raila Odinga at the Jacaranda grounds in Embakasi, Nairobi.

NASA supporters were on Monday urged to only carry a Bible item to the Jacaranda grounds.

Former Nairobi Senatorial candidate Edwin Sifuna asked NASA followers to carry their holy books at the venue where the coalition is expected to hold a memorial service to pray with families of those allegedly killed by police during demonstrations against the repeat presidential election.

The popular Lawyer also said that NASA had notified Nairobi Police Commander Japheth Koome of its plan.

“We have on behalf of NASA notified Soweto and Embakasi Police Stations with a copy to Mr. Koome of the memorial tomorrow. Attendees are encouraged to bring their Bibles,” said Sifuna in a statement.

The President will be sworn in at the Moi International Sports Complex Kasarani in Nairobi on Tuesday, November 28 and Nasa will be holding a parallel rally in Nairobi just after the swearing-in fete.

Meanwhile, the venue of the Raila Odinga event was sealed of Tuesday morning by GSU officers, who were patrolling the area by the time of publishing this story.
