Reports indicate that the opposition coalition held a behind the scene talks early this week with religious leaders in which the opposition tabled several demands.

At the meeting, NASA tabled several demands that are also expected to feature in the meeting scheduled for this week.

This comes after several envoys and religious leaders called for dialogue to end the current political anxiety following the recently concluded repeat polls that left the nation is deeply divided.

The opposition coalition has declined to recognize the legitimacy of President Uhuru Kenyatta who was sworn into office last week.

Plans by NASA to swear in Raila Odinga as “the people’s president” are underway with invitations to the event already sent out.
