Ngunyi divulged that he was shocked when he used Mr. Odinga’s Safaricom number, which he purported to have disposed of following the widely publicized boycott, only to find out that it was working.
The political scientist opined that the former Prime Minister was not being honest in his call for an economic boycott which targets certain companies.
Prof Ngunyi further accused Mr. Odinga of using violence to propagate his political agenda.
“VIOLENCE is Raila's Currency of POLITICAL Transaction. His other CURRENCY is Political LIES. I called him TODAY and his Safaricom line is STILL active! He is NOT being HONEST,” he said.
This comes after the Opposition urged its supporters to abandon using products and services offered by Safaricom, Bidco and Brookside.
According to NASA the named companies were backing electoral fraud in the country financially or otherwise.
Odinga migrated from Safaricom to Airtel during a public event held at an Airtel shop on Koinange street, Nairobi.
Other NASA leaders also made the shift and even posted their new phone numbers on various social media platforms.
