Tension after Mungiki was linked to brutal killings in NASA stronghold

Nairobi Police Commander on Sunday morning confirmed the incident.

The killings occurred in Riverside, Ruaraka constituency, which is a key NASA stronghold.

Nairobi Police Commander Japheth Koome confirmed the incident but indicated that the circumstances remained unclear. Investigations on the nature and motive of the killing remains unclear.

Locals have come out to accuse the outlawed criminal group, Mungiki, of carrying out the gruesome murders.

In protest, some residents staged demonstrations along Outering Road.
