Sharon Otieno’s mum reveals secrets of Governor Obado’s affair with her daughter
She wants Governor Obado investigated over her daughter's murder
Melida Auma Otieno on Wednesday said her daughter had entered a relationship with Obado on the promise that she would be given lucrative county tenders.
Melida, however, says that the promise of tenders for her daughter’s businesses was not kept and that she ended up getting pregnant.
“He lied to my daughter that he would award her business tenders in the county. My daughter even registered a company believing Obado would give her the business deal,” Melida said.

Sharon’s mother said that Governor Obado was aware of the pregnancy, saying that they had exchanged phone calls and text messages on the matter.
“There is evidence in her phone log and texts. The girl’s phone is with the Migori County Commander (Joseph Nthenge),” the victim’s mother claimed.
She now wants the Migori Governor to be investigated over her daughter’s death.
Following the arrest of his personal assistant in connection to the murder, Obado has distanced himself from the incident, saying the aide acted independently.
The PA, Nicholas Oyuoma, was arrested after he was reported to have been involved in the abduction of Sharon, alongside Nation Journalist Barrack Oduor.
