The leaders who spoke on Sunday in a rally at Jacaranda Grounds in Nairobi have crafted two options should the Supreme Court uphold Mr Kenyatta’s victory in the highly protracted democratic exercise.
Nasa senior counsel and Siaya Senator Mr James Orengo said Uhuru’s reelection for a second term is at stake on grounds that “no world leader or Western diplomat has congratulated him,” meaning that he has no touch with the international community.
Mr Orengo warned that Mr Odinga, through his National Resistance Movement, is pushing for a revolution against Uhuru, Kenyatta which the Jubilee leadership should not take lightly.

“We are using the law and the Constitution in this revolution. During the Kanu regime we wanted multi-partyism, but President Daniel Moi said no. Then we went to the people - did we get multi-partyism or not?” Orengo posed to a crowd at Jacaranda Grounds, Nairobi.
He cited NASA’s People’s Assembly in the counties move to pass motions of no confidence against Uhuru as part of the revolution. The senator said NASA will swear in Raila if Uhuru is sworn in.
Orengo was with former senators Johnson Muthama (Machakos) and Boni Khalwale (Kakamega).
Elected MPs present were Gladys Wanga (Homa Bay woman representative), Opiyo Wandayi (Ugunja), Raphael Wanjala (Budalang’i), George Aladwa (Makadara) and Babu Owino (Embakasi East).
“One of resolutions in the motions passed in the county assemblies says someone elected by 30 per cent of voters cannot be recognised as the President. Stand up firm for your right by saying enough is enough. We must reach Canaan,” MrOrengo said.

Meanwhile, upon his return from the US, Mr Odinga is set to unveil a two-sided strategy to force the Jubilee Government into accepting reforms, after a series of meetings in the US with key opinion makers and leaders.
“Raila has met everybody he programmed to meet in the US, and he is continuing to meet more. When he comes back, we will release a programme, an action plan going forward,” Bungoma Senator Mr Wetang’ula said earlier in an exclusive interview.
Mr Wetangula revealed that Mr Odinga changed tact and resorted to using the international community to push the Uhuru Kenyatta led Jubilee administration out of power, even after he bowed out of the October 26 repeat polls.
Crucial to Mr Odinga’s next move is the pending ruling by the Supreme Court on whether Mr Kenyatta will be sworn-in.
Upon Uhuru Kenyatta’s swearing-in, Nasa team, which earlier threatened to swear in Mr Odinga in a parallel event, maintained that it will not recognise Mr Kenyatta’s presidency.

Nasa team quipped that the US trip by Mr Odinga was a calculated move and also a plan by the coalition to crystallise its resistance and economic boycott plan that will be activated if the swearing-in of President Uhuru Kenyatta would be sanctioned by the Supreme Court.
While in Washington DC, Mr Odinga met, Yamamoto Donald, the assistant secretary of State for African Affairs in the US administration, Michael Phelan, director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and Greg Simpkins, director of the House of Representatives sub-committee on Africa.
The leaders asked their supporters to turn up in large numbers on Thursday to welcome Raila at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as he arrives from the US.
