Full details of Miguna's emergency call
Mr. Mucheke disclosed that Miguna called him in distress while he had gone to buy him food.
According to the KNCHR official, the Canadian-based lawyer asked him to rush back to the toilet cell at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) as he was in danger.
"It's been another day at JKIA with Miguna Miguna in the toilet cell before he was abducted and taken away. I left him in the toilet to go buy him dinner since he was not being provided food by his captors.
"Minutes later, he called me in distress asking me to go back quickly since he was in danger," he said.
Mucheke noted that when he arrived the GSU officer manning the area blocked him from accessing the toilet.
"By the time I rushed back it was too late...The police blocked me and violently denied me reentry into the toilet to deliver the food to Miguna. This the food and tea I had bought Miguna," he said.
This comes amid High court orders to the Government demanding the immediate release of Mr. Miguna.

On Monday, Miguna arrived in Kenya at 2.30 PM but was detained at the Immigration Department because he did not possess a Kenyan passport.
He was asked to surrender his Canadian passport then apply for a Visa but he refused.
According to Miguna, applying for the Visa as a tourist would restrict him from conducting his political activities in the country.
After a stand-off of more than 8 hours, a battalion of police officers bundled the fiery lawyer into an Emirates flight in a bid to deport him to Dubai.
The Immigration officers claimed that Miguna was an undocumented visitor who cannot be allowed in the country.

However, Miguna refused to board the plane and stood at the door restricting any movement.
Eventually, the captain locked the plane’s door and Miguna was left at JKIA’s runway.
