IEBC releases official votes Uhuru has garnered so far (Photos)
The move comes following a mix-up by Citizen TV on the presidential results which they later apologised.
A spot check by Pulselive.co.ke as at 12:50 PM, indicated that President Uhuru Kenyatta had garnered 7, 137, 699 votes, which translated to 98.33%.
NASA leader Raila Odinga, who withdrew from the repeat election, had recorded 67, 196 votes translating to 0.93%.
Thirdway Alliance Party leader Ekuru Aukot came in a distant third with 19,623 votes.
According to the electoral body, the results are from 242 out of 291 constituencies across the country, and the voter turnout stands at 43.57%.
On Saturday, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati stated that all results from any other sources should not be taken as representing the position of the electoral body.
"The poll results are found at our portal . Any other "results" should be attributed to their respective sources," a tweet from IEBC read.
