Uhuru's early morning message to Kenyans ignites debate

The message has sparked an endless discussion

Mr. Kenyatta has urged all Kenyans to join hands and vigorously fight corruption for the wellbeing of our country.

“Wakenya wenzangu, the war against corruption and economic crimes is about the wellbeing of our Republic. Let's all join hands and vigorously fight this vice,” Tweeted President Uhuru Kenyatta.

A number of Kenyans on Twitter were impressed by his message while others opted to remind him to do more on the fight against corruption.

One Twitter user Francis Gatimu said; “Mr. President you are yet to make this louder. If someone is mentioned please they should be sent home till they are cleared. You can't tell us to help fight while the traffic police have not been burned”

Another one added that people holding public offices are the most corrupt “Your CSs, heads of parastatal,and govt agencies, Universities are the most corrupt...when they pay for their sins, we shall begin winning this war!”

Online User Holy Kenya said,“But mr president you dont take advice from your people, for example Ndegwa Muhoro we all know who he is and now he's about to land a prime job , you nominate Chumo and yet we know who is is . Kinuthia mbugua, Peter Munya and the list goes on and on how I am supposed to help you.”
