The polls will be held for the Kitutu Chache Parliamentary seat in Kisii County, Masalani Ward (Garissa) and Bogichora Ward in Nyamira County.
The August 8 poll for the Kitutu Chache Parliamentary seat was postponed after the death of Jubilee Party candidate Leonard Gwaro on July 8.
Mr. Gwaro died during a road crash at Nyakoe area on the Kisii-Kisumu highway while driving to a political rally.

At the same time, Bogichora Ward elections were also suspended after an aspiring MCA from Jubilee party passed away.
Onsomu Okebiro died following a short illness three days to the August 8 General Election.
In a statement, the electoral body stated: “There will be 3 by-elections on Tue 7th. Kitutu Chache South Constituency (Kisii) and Masalani (Garissa) & Bogichora (Nyamira) Wards (CAW)”.
