For the first time since independence, Kenyans will witness a military ocean parade conducted by Kenya navy.
Revamped Mama Ngina Waterfront park where the event will be held is already filled with a sea of humanity ready to celebrate and remember heroes and heroines.
Interior PS Karanja Kibicho confirmed that the gates of the park would be opened as early as 5am with all the necessary arrangements in place for the big day.
“All the necessary logistics, including security, entertainments, seating and parking arrangements are in place and we expect to be a historic event where more than 50,000 people are expected to attend,” said Kibicho.
