Uhuru creates new office to run Nairobi County

President Uhuru Kenyatta has announced the creation of the Nairobi Metropolitan Service (NMS) office that will take over the running of the county's functions.

Speaking at State House on Wednesday, Uhuru named Major General Mohamed Abdalla Badi as the new Director General of the NMS.

Major Badi will be deputized by Enouch Onyango Momanyi as they take over the functions that were transferred to the National government.
