President Uhuru Kenyatta led the country in mourning the Maj-Gen on Saturday 8 June as he sent his condolences to the family.
In a show of solidarity and honour to a man who served the country passionately, the National Government Communication Centre (NGCC) has designated a website for the no-nonsense CS.
NGCC has compiled videos and photos showcasing the life of Mr Nkaissery as he served the country.
The site also has a section which allows Kenyans to pay tribute to the late General.
"It seems like only yesterday when in full health, he joined together with other Kenyans at Uhuru Park to offer prayers for the nation in what would be his last official function.
"With broken hearts, we bid farewell to one of Kenya’s finest sons. In his tireless service to the nation, he demonstrated courage and compassion in equal measure," the Tribute section reads in part.
NGCC encourages the public to send the message noting that the stories may be shared with the rest of his family, friends and fellow Kenyans.
