Police boss shot dead at 3am in Nairobi

Riruta Deputy OCS Benson Indeche was gunned down during a 3am scuffle by his colleagues.

According to reports, the shootout between the officers ensued after a distress call by bodaboda riders in Kawangware, Nairobi.

Indeche was accused of harassing bodaboda riders and shooting a police officer on the wrist during the scuffle.

When ordered to surrender, Indeche is said to have refused and shot at the officers who in turn opened fire and shot him.

Police officers rushed Indeche to Nairobi Women’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
