Starehe Member of Parliament (MP) Charles Kanyi alias Jaguar on Friday buried the father of a man he ran over with his car in 2017.

The MP was a pall bearer at Peter Ndungu's funeral, just two years after Peter's son Mugo Mwangi lost his life in the accident involving the legislator.

Jaguar posted photos of the burial with a caption that indicated he had made peace with the family after the loss of their son.

"Attended the funeral of Peter Ndung’u father to Mugo Mwangi who passed on when I was involved in an accident along Sagana-Nyeri road in 2017.

"I have stood with the family since then and pledge my continued support," Jaguar captioned photos he shared on Twitter.

Tragic Accident involving Jaguar's Range Rover

In April 2017 Jaguar was charged with dangerous driving that led to the death of the young Mugo, a bodaboda rider, and his passenger Sinfolian Maingi.

Jagua argued that his "traffic offense" was bailable and was released on a Sh50,000 bail.
