The bodies were moved to Kitui Level Four mortuary.
Nzambani Sub-County AP commander Lawrence Njeru pointed out that investigations into the murder had begun.
Thenge Mutua has since committed suicide after his body was found hanging from a tree.
Wife caught with boyfriend
In November, a man in Nakuru killed his wife after he caught her with another man.

Reports indicated that the boyfriend to the deceased was seriously injured during the incident.
The man who was identified as Paul Maritim was reported to have slit his wife’s throat after he came home at around 11pm and he found her entertaining her lover.

Police in Nakuru noted that the suspect was still at large and a man hunt for him had already begun.
According to a local media, Paul took a club and a panga which he used to attack the wife’s lover before he slit her throat.
