UN gives Ksh1 billion for aerial spraying of locusts

The United Nation has released Ksh1 billion to aid in the eradication of desert locuts.

This comes after FAO said the locusts will likely persist in Kenya and the Horn of Africa until June due to prevailing weather conditions.

The money will be used towards the aerial spraying of the desert locusts which have invaded parts of Northern, Central and Eastern Kenya.
