Award-winning gymnast Wendi Waeni who exposed her former manager Joe Mwangi for allegedly exploiting her talent for his own personal benefit has sent a new request to Kenyans and announced that she has a new Instagram account.

In a video posted on her new Instagram page, Wendy thanked the public for standing with her after she made the damning allegations which have since attracted action from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
"I want to thank you so much. Since the interview, you have supported me and I also want to say thank you to Jeff a lot. I have a new Instagram page and I would like all of you to continue supporting me," she urged her followers.
During the interview on Citizen TV’s JKL, Wendy accused Joe of taking control of her previous social media accounts, leaving in the dark and misusing the accounts to engage in public spats, which made people think she was behind the controversial remarks.

"People are telling me I'm rude. People are telling me I'm a brat because I post things on Instagram which I don't know about Jeff. I don't have access to my social media accounts. Its Joe Mwangi who controls them," Wendy revealed.
In the wake of the damning allegations against the embattled former manager, DCI announced that investigations to establish the truth have been launched.
Taking to Twitter, DCI posted that "DCI Detectives from the Child Protection Unit have today commenced investigations into this matter & should ANY criminal culpability be found, appropriate legal action will be taken".

Woman emerges with new allegations
Meanwhile, a woman identified as Becky Moraa has emerged, alleging that Joe is a seasoned liar who at one point attempted to lure her in a relationship, lying to her that he works with the United Nations and promising her a job with the UN.
According to Moraa, all she had to do to land the job was to “meet him (Joe) up at his house and sign papers”.

Releasing screenshots of text messages allegedly exchanged with Joe, Moraa claims Wendy's disgraced former manager introduced the gymnast as his younger sister.

Mwangi has since dismissed all allegations made by Waeni, insisting that he has never left the country in the company of the child acrobat.
