In the recording, a voice that resembles Wetangula’s is heard attempting to calm down a foreigner reportedly working for the Saudi Prince by using the names of President Kenyatta, Opposition leader Raila Odinga and interior CS Fred Matiang’i.
“Raila met with head of State on this matter (controversial gold) and explained to him and the head of state has called the minister (Matiang’i) “says the voice that sounds more like Wetangula’s.
He goes ahead and confirms that Raila who has met the head of state will communicate when the consignment will be picked.
The Arab is heard complaining over five-months delay in delivering the gold warning that any undesired move would mean a disaster for everyone to which the man believed to be Wetangula responds reassuring him that everything is going to be positive and done.
“Believe me any movement (on this gold) will be a disaster for all of you and myself included” warns the Arab operative.
“There will be none whatsoever my brother, take my word my brother. It’s only going to be positive and it’s going to be resolved and done.” Goes the response.
The man goes ahead stating that Moses has all the papers and warns that patience is running out even as a voice that closely resembles Wetangula’s pleads for patience, saying that anger will not help.
The angry Arab fixer is heard warning Moses against making others involved in the dealings angrier and advises him to come clean if he cannot deliver on his end of the bargain.
