Donald Trump rejects Kes 40 million presidential salary even as circumstances force him to ditch his private jet which has gold-plated seatbelts and gold bathroom

Donald Trump’s Kes 10 billion private jet offer sumptuous luxury that Air Force One can’t rival. Unfortunately the US president-elect will be forced to ditch his plane for Air Force One once he’s sworn in as US 45th president.

 

Donald Trump would not be pocketing $400,000/Kes 40 million monthly salary that a sitting US president gets paid; he doesn’t need it anyway since Forbes estimates his net worth to be 3.7 billion dollars.

Trump said on September 17th 2015, event in Rochester, New Hampshire that he wouldn’t accept salary if he gets elected as US president.

“The first thing I'm going to do is tell you that if I'm elected president, I'm accepting no salary, okay? That's not a big deal for me. I won't take even one dollar” Donald Trump said during his campaign trail in Rochester, New Hampshire.

The US president-elect has also been forced to stoop low and ditch his private jet for Air Force One. Air Force One is far sophisticated than Trump’s jet in terms of security but when it comes to luxury, Trump’s Boeing 757-200 carries the day.

Trump bought his jet, 'the T-Bird', in 2011 at a cost of 100 million dollars or 10 billion shillings from Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen.

The plane which usually has a capacity of 180 to 200 people was refurbished to fly 43 people only. Trump’s plane has gold bathroom, 24-carat gold-plated seatbelts, a video lounge with 57-inch screen and sound system.

The billionaire has his own bedroom in his jet which has a king-size bed and all other accessories available at a seven star hotel.
