Demand for voters card before going for a date, DP Ruto urges Nyamira ladies
Even as the Valentine’s Day draws closer, Ruto has told Nyamira women to ask for voters card before going for a date out.

Speaking at Kenyoro Lutheran church in North Mugirango constituency, Nyamira County, while on a voter mobilisation drive, Ruto told girls not to date men who have not registered as voters as he took his Jubilee campaign to Nyamira County.
Ruto also accused Opposition figurehead Raila Odinga of opposing development projects for “cheap political mileage”.
Ruto has clarified to the residents, especially women, that a date proposal from a man should only be accompanied by a voter’s card. He has slammed residents who have not registered to vote as those who may not perform well even during the date.
“Uanjua mtu kama hana kura, huwezi kujua ni nini ingine hana,” Ruto said in a viral video. (You cannot tell what else such a man who has not been listed as a voter doesn’t have).
Ruto has been in the Fred Matiangi’s backyard over the weekend, where he has urged residents to register as voters.
Meanwhile Ruto has challenged the opposition leaders; Raila, Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wateng’ula and Musalia Mudavadi, to show Kenyans what they achieved when they served in past governments.
The mass voter registration is ongoing countrywide as is expected to come to a close on February 14th, a valentine day.
