Reports claimed that the man stabbed the woman several times all over her body and later tried to conceal the blood and stab wounds by washing the wife’s body before he covered it in a blanket and hid it.

Kakamega Central OCPD Joseph Chebii affirmed that the suspect had tried to commit suicide through poisoning after he was confronted.

“The suspect attempted to kill himself by swallowing some substance suspected to be poisonous and was rushed to hospital for treatment,” stated Chebii.
Neighbors to the 45-year-old man discovered the body of the deceased hidden in the house after they broke into the criminal’s premises while he was at a bullfighting event.

Nekesa Makokha, who is the wife of Ibrahim, had remarked that she refused to prepare the dish due to being fatigued.
