See pastor who raped 17-yr-old girl during spiritual deliverance

A pastor and the general overseer of a church in Ogun State who was arrested for allegedly raping a teenager says the devil pushed him into it.

Pastor Adekunle Francis who has was arrested by men of the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl under the pretence of conducting a spiritual deliverance for her has confessed that the devil made him do it.

According to Punch, Francis who claimed to be a General Overseer of a church in the state, had told the girl that she had some spiritual problems and needed to be delivered.

He then lured the teenager into an uncompleted building in the Ipamesan, Sango area of the state, armed with anointing oil and other items and while pretending to pray for her, forcefully stripped her naked and had carnal knowledge of her.

After raping the girl, he allegedly warned her against telling anyone or she would pay with her life but the girl later reported the matter to the police at the Sango Division, leading to the arrest of the pastor.

On interrogation, he allegedly said he was pushed into the crime by the devil as he was not himself at the time he committed the crime.
